28 years in the making
Spokane Christian Center (SCC) opened on May 4, 1980. Services originated at the YMCA and were filled with the excitement of 150 faithful attendees. Within a very short time, SCC moved into a building located on Boone Street, close to Gonzaga University. God continued to move there in a mighty way, changing lives and building strong Christians. In 1984, 30 acres of prime land were purchased on the corner of Argonne and Bigelow Gulch Road. Building quickly commenced for a facility that would house the many growing ministries currently available today.
